Common AC problems we fix

  • Not cooling or blowing warm air: low refrigerant from a leak, a failed capacitor or contactor, or a dirty coil
  • AC won't turn on: tripped breakers, blown fuses, thermostat or wiring faults
  • Frozen evaporator coil: restricted airflow, dirty filters or low refrigerant
  • Water leaking indoors: clogged condensate drain lines or a cracked drain pan, which are very common in Florida humidity
  • Short cycling (turning on and off often): thermostat placement, an oversized system, or electrical faults
  • Loud or unusual noises: failing fan motors, loose parts or a struggling compressor
  • High humidity indoors even while the AC runs

How a repair visit works

  1. Call or request service. Tell us what the system is doing, its brand and how old it is, if you know.
  2. Diagnosis. A technician checks the thermostat, electrical parts, refrigerant pressures, airflow and drainage.
  3. Clear options. You get the cause and the repair options in writing. If the system is old and repairs are adding up, we'll also explain AC replacement, without pressure.
  4. Repair and test. We make the repair you approve and test the system before we leave.

Repair or replace?

A repair usually makes sense for a newer system with a single failed part. Replacement may make more sense when the system is older, needs a major part like a compressor, uses an outdated refrigerant, or keeps breaking down. We'll show you both paths and let you decide.

AC repair FAQs

How fast can you get here?

Call (800) 515-1254 during office hours, Monday–Friday, 9 am–4 pm, and we'll book the first available appointment.

How often should my AC be serviced in Florida?

Because systems run most of the year here, many homeowners schedule maintenance at least once a year, ideally before summer. Change or clean filters regularly and keep the outdoor unit clear of plants and debris.

My AC is leaking water inside. Is that an emergency?

Turn the system off at the thermostat to prevent water damage and call us. It's often a clogged condensate line, which is usually a quick fix.
