Privacy Policy

Affordable Solar Roof & Air
Effective date: October 21, 2026

Affordable Solar Roof & Air (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Florida home-services company. We install and service solar energy systems, roofs, HVAC and air-conditioning systems (repair and replacement), and electrical systems. We serve homeowners throughout Florida, except Broward County, Miami-Dade County, Duval County (Jacksonville) and the Florida Panhandle.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://solarroofair.com (the “Site”), fill out one of our forms, call us, or receive text messages from us; how we use and share that information; and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain English. If you have questions, see “Contact Us” at the end.

Our legal business name is Affordable Solar Roof & Air LLC.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote, book a consultation, ask for service, or otherwise contact us through a form on the Site, we collect what you type in, which may include:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Street address and ZIP code
  • The type of service you’re interested in (for example solar, roofing, HVAC/AC, or electrical)
  • Any message or details you choose to include

We also collect information you give us by phone, by text, by email, or in person during a consultation or project (for example details about your home, roof, energy use, or electric bills you choose to share).

Information recorded with form submissions

When you submit a form, we also record the page you submitted it from, the date and time, and technical details such as your IP address and browser type.

Information collected automatically when you browse

Like most websites, our Site and the service providers we use automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the page that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, described in Section 5.

Call information

If you call us or we call you, we keep records of the call, such as your phone number and the date, time, and length of the call. Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality and training purposes. Florida law requires the consent of everyone on a call before it is recorded, so callers are told at the start of the call that it may be recorded, and give their consent before the conversation continues. Recordings are kept and protected like our other records (see Sections 6 and 7).

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your request and prepare quotes and estimates
  • Schedule, confirm, and remind you about consultations, site assessments, installations, and service visits
  • Follow up with you about your quote, project, or service request
  • Provide, install, monitor, and service the products and services you purchase
  • Help you apply for financing when you ask us to (see Section 3)
  • Send you calls and text messages you have agreed to receive (see Section 4)
  • Measure and improve our advertising, our Site, and our forms
  • Protect our Site and forms against spam, fraud, and abuse
  • Comply with the law, permitting and inspection requirements, and our legal obligations, and to enforce our agreements

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.

  • Financing partners — only when you apply. We offer financing and lease options through our partners EnFin, Climate First Bank, and Lightreach. We share your information with a financing partner only when you choose to apply for, or ask us to start, financing or a lease with that partner. The partner’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy and terms.
  • Service providers. We use companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting and security, email, scheduling and appointment software, text-messaging platforms, analytics, and advertising tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. As described in Section 5, Meta and Microsoft receive information through cookies and pixels on our Site. Our website server also sends event information about visits and inquiries to Meta (through Meta’s Conversions API). This helps us measure whether our ads led to an inquiry.
  • Permitting, utilities, and manufacturers. When you become a customer, we share project information as needed with local building departments, inspectors, your utility (for example to set up net metering), and equipment manufacturers (for example to register warranties).
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or others.
  • Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Text messaging data is not shared for marketing. See Section 4.

4. Phone calls and text messages (SMS)

If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, Affordable Solar Roof & Air may call and text you at that number about your request and our services. This includes first-contact follow-up after you submit a form, questions to understand your project and whether our services are a fit (qualification), appointment scheduling, confirmations and reminders, and project and service updates. Some of these messages are marketing messages, because they encourage you to book a consultation or buy our services. We send texts only to people who have submitted a form on our Site or otherwise given us consent. These calls and texts may be made or sent using automated technology, and calls may use a prerecorded or artificial voice.

  • Your consent. We contact you this way only with your express written consent, which you give by checking the consent box on our forms (or by texting us first, or agreeing in writing in another way). You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to calls or texts to buy anything from us. You can always call us at (800) 515-1254 instead.
  • Message frequency varies depending on your request and the stage of your project.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts. You’ll get one message confirming you’ve been unsubscribed. You can also ask us to stop calling you at any time.
  • Help: reply HELP for help, or call (800) 515-1254 or email info@solarroofair.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • No sharing of mobile information for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described in Section 3, except with the service providers that deliver our messages for us.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that send information about your visit to a service provider. We and our partners currently use these technologies on the Site for the purposes below.

Tool Provider What it does
Meta Pixel (and Meta’s Conversions API) Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Measures visits and inquiries that come from our Facebook and Instagram ads and helps us show ads to people likely to be interested. Through Meta’s Conversions API, our website server also sends Meta information about visits and inquiries directly, in addition to the pixel in your browser.
Microsoft Advertising UET Microsoft Measures visits and inquiries that come from our Microsoft (Bing) ads and supports remarketing.
Microsoft Clarity Microsoft Records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement; session replays and heatmaps) so we can find and fix problems with our pages and forms. Clarity is designed to mask what you type into form fields.
Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare security Cloudflare Protects our forms and Site from spam and bots by checking browser and device signals. It does not show you ads.

Our Site also loads Google Tag Manager, a tool for managing website tags; it currently contains no Google Analytics or Google Ads tags.

These providers may collect information about your visits to our Site and other websites over time and use it according to their own privacy policies:

Your choices

Opting out of personalized ads does not mean you will stop seeing ads; they will just be less tailored to you. Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including to respond to you, complete and support your project, honor warranties, and meet legal, tax, licensing, and record-keeping requirements. In general:

  • Inquiries and leads that don’t become projects: 7 years
  • Customer and project records: 7 years
  • Text-message opt-out records: kept so we can continue to honor your request
  • Analytics and advertising data: kept by the providers according to their own settings and policies

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, such as encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our Site, managed website hosting, spam and bot protection on our forms, and limiting access to people who need it for their work. No website, internet transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us right away.

8. Children’s privacy

Our Site and services are meant for adults (homeowners and property owners). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Florida residents and your privacy requests

We are a Florida business. Florida’s Digital Bill of Rights generally applies only to very large companies (for example, those with more than $1 billion in annual gross revenue), so it likely does not apply to us. Even so, we want you to have control over your information. You may ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we have about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete your personal information
  • Stop calls, texts, or marketing emails at any time

To make a request, email info@solarroofair.com or call (800) 515-1254. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within 45 days. Some information may need to be kept even after a deletion request, for example to complete a project, honor a warranty, keep your opt-out on file, or meet legal or record-keeping requirements; if so, we’ll tell you.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use or share your mobile opt-in data for third-party marketing.

10. Links to other websites

Our Site may link to other websites and services, such as financing partners, equipment manufacturers, review sites, and social media pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make important changes, we may also give additional notice, such as a notice on the Site.
