When a roof is past repair, a full replacement protects everything under it. Our in-house roofing crew tears off the old roof, checks the deck, and installs a new roof built to the current Florida Building Code, with the permit and final inspection handled for you.

Signs it's time to replace your roof

  • Shingles that are curling, cracking, missing or shedding granules into the gutters
  • Leaks or ceiling stains that come back after repairs
  • Soft or sagging spots that point to damaged decking
  • A roof that is near the end of its expected life, or that your insurer has flagged at renewal
  • Storm damage across a large part of the roof (see Roof Repair & Storm Damage)

Not sure? We start with a roof assessment and tell you plainly whether a repair or a replacement makes sense.

Our roof replacement process

  1. Roof assessment. A roofer inspects the roof surface, flashing, vents and attic signs of leaks, and photographs what we find.
  2. Written estimate. You get a clear scope: materials, colors, and what is included. No pressure, no obligation.
  3. Permit. We pull the re-roof permit with your local building department.
  4. Tear-off and deck check. We remove the old roof down to the deck and replace any rotted or damaged decking we find (we show you before we replace it).
  5. New roof installation. Underlayment, flashing, vents and your new roof covering, installed to the manufacturer's specifications and Florida code for wind.
  6. Clean-up and final inspection. Magnetic sweep for nails, debris hauled away, and the final inspection scheduled with the building department.

Roofing materials we install

Most of the homes we re-roof get architectural shingles. Have a different roof type? Ask our team, and we'll walk you through the options that fit your home, your neighborhood rules and your budget.

Planning solar? Do the roof first

If you're thinking about solar, replacing an older roof first means you won't have to remove and reinstall panels later. Because we install both roofs and solar, one team can plan the new roof and the solar layout together. Learn more about solar panel installation.

Already have solar panels? We detach and reset them

Need a new roof under existing solar panels? We safely disconnect and remove your system, replace the roof with proper flashing and sealing at the new mounts, then reinstall, reconnect and test your panels. One company handles the roof and the solar, so you have one point of contact. See Solar Panel Removal & Reinstall.

Warranties

We'll give you the warranty details for your new roof in writing with your estimate.

Roof replacement FAQs

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes take one to a few days on site, depending on size, roof type and weather. Permitting and material delivery add time before work starts; we'll give you a schedule with your estimate.

Do I need a permit to replace my roof in Florida?

Yes. A re-roof needs a permit and a final inspection from your local building department. We handle both.

Will my insurance pay for a new roof?

That depends on your policy and the cause of the damage. If storms damaged your roof, we work with your insurance claim and provide documentation of roof damage. Your insurer decides coverage. See Florida roof insurance claims.

Can you replace my roof if I already have solar panels?

Yes. Our team can remove the panels, replace the roof, and reinstall and test the system. We also detach and reset systems other companies installed. See Solar Panel Removal & Reinstall.

Do you replace roofs outside the Tampa Bay area?

We serve 48 Florida counties: all of Florida except Broward, Miami-Dade, Duval and the Panhandle.
