Stay safe. Stay off the roof and away from downed lines.
Prevent more damage. If water is coming in, move belongings and catch drips, then call us.
Take photos of the damage inside and out, from the ground.
Call your insurance company to report the damage, if you plan to file a claim.

How we help with storm damage

We work with your insurance claim and provide documentation of roof damage. Our roofer inspects the roof, photographs the damage, and writes up the repairs or replacement needed to bring the roof up to current Florida code. We don't interpret your policy or negotiate your claim. Your insurance company decides what is covered.

Florida's 25% rule: under Florida law, if more than 25% of a roof is damaged, the repair or replacement must bring the roof up to current code. Roofs built to the 2007 Florida Building Code or later are generally exempt from this rule. Learn more on our Florida roof insurance claim page.

Repair or replace?

We'll give you a straight answer. If a repair will hold, we repair it. If the roof is near the end of its life or the damage is widespread, we'll explain why a roof replacement may be the better long-term choice. The decision is yours. Have solar panels on the roof? Can you help with my insurance claim?

We work with your insurance claim and provide documentation of roof damage. We do not act as a public adjuster and don't negotiate on your behalf.

Will a repair void my roof warranty?

It depends on the warranty. Bring us your warranty papers and we'll review them with you before any work starts.
